The Mission of TRR's Warrior Camp® is to heal the trauma of war in active duty military personnel and all combat veterans.

Warrior Camp® is one of the few programs that is directly addressing Moral Injury. MORAL INJURY IS NOT PTSD. IT IS NOT A DISORDER.  Moral Injury results from having been trained to override the intrinsic aversion to the taking of human life. It is an ethical response. And working with it is key to faciitating warriors' transition from the battlefield to community. Healing Moral Injury in our nations' veterans is key to their survival.

Warrior Camp® is a groundbreaking program - 7 days of integrated treatment modalities in the context of Community: EMDR Therapy, Yoga, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Narrative Writing. Warrior Camps include a healthy balance of trauma therapies, relaxation and leisure activities.

Upcoming Program

Warrior Camp in Park City, Utah

October 12 - 18, 2015

Warrior Camps are for active duty military and ALL  veterans - we do not exclude anyone from our programs. They are designed to address Combat-related PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma and Moral Injury. They take place in safe and secluded locations and are FREE for all participants.

OEF/OIF/OND Veterans, Operation Desert Storm Veterans, Vietnam Veterans, Women Veterans are encouraged to apply.

We have conducted 5 Warrior Camps so far. Program evaluation of the first two was conducted by Weill Cornell Medical College Department of Public Health and the subsequent programs are being evaluated by Brigham Young University. Findings are that Warrior Camp signifigantly reduces PTSD and depressive symptoms in participants.
